A Work of Art

I realize that many consumers, as well as many technology critics, praise the iPhone as a “Work of Art”.  That being said, I thought it would be worth it to revisit a video published by Jorge Colombo as he created what became the cover art for the June 2009 issue of the New Yorker.  By using the iPhone App “Brushes” in order to create this masterpiece, Colombo showed us that while the iPhone can be called a “Work of Art”, it can also be used to create a “Work of Art”.

Community-Based Learning Environments

Ji Yeon Song’s “sunlight poem” (which is presented at the beginning of this video) is a great example of what I imagine for the future of Community-Based Learning Environments.
